HLA Country Farm is a small raw milk dairy farm where we are striving to supply the local community with fresh natural raw milk  We are currently milking Jersey cows and Nubian goats.   We raise standard size Jersey cattle.  The reason we chose Jersey cattle is for the high butterfat content in the raw milk.  We want to offer the richest and highest quality milk.  As most dairy breeds far surpass the Jersey in quantity the Jersey gives the highest quality. The Nubian goats milk is comparable to the Jersey milk for the butterfat content.  Learn how to milk a cow and a goat and then make cheese from that milk in our hands on milking and cheesemaking class.  Check out our workshop page to see what people are saying about our workshops.   It is both fun and educational.  I call it Agri Edu Tainment. Come join us.

Dear Judy,

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the private cheesemaking class.  You are a WONDERFUL teacher and we left knowing how to make 5 different cheeses!  Wow!

Can't wait to get started on my own.  Thanks again for sharing your wonderful farm, goats, dogs and cats with us as well as your incredible expertise and easy-to-understand instructions.  It was a lot of fun and delicious as well.
